Infant's booties measurements for crochet?

I am crocheting baby booties and am not sure of the size. If any of you have babies, please help. I would like to know how high the ankle side should be for a baby bootie ( the mary jane type and sneaker type too). I am looking for sizes, 3-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months sizes. I have the length and width measurements but not sure how high it should be on the ankle side. THanks in advance.

for my son who is almost 4 months about 2 inches high would be about right I think
